I am a therapist, sociologist and research leader with over 20 years of experience in trauma-informed and evidence-based practice. I am passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing through trauma sensitive therapy, supervision, research and training. I bring experience working with complex trauma across public health, mental health, children and youth services, domestic and family violence, sexual violence, and maternity care.
Alongside my clinical work, I am the Director of Research and Translation at the Central Coast Local Health District. I am also an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Faculty of Health at the University of Technology Sydney. As a senior research leader and translational researcher, I have led over 25 principal investigator studies and published close to 100 peer-reviewed papers.
